This page is a typography and block sampler for the full-width<\/strong> page template. Every common text format and block appears at least once, so you can check spacing, colors and dark mode in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prompts work best when the parts that change are easy to spot. Write the fixed instructions once, put {{blanks}}<\/code> where the details go, and let the form do the rest. You can mark text as bold<\/strong>, italic<\/em>, bold italic<\/em><\/strong>, struck through<\/s>, or link to another prompt in the library<\/a>. Shortcuts like Ctrl<\/kbd> + C<\/kbd> are shown as keys, and notes like H2<\/sub>O or 10th<\/sup> use sub- and superscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heading level 2: writing a good prompt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A good prompt tells the AI who it is, what to do, and what a good answer looks like. Keep each instruction short. If a sentence needs a second sentence to explain it, split it into two instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heading level 3: the three parts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Role:<\/strong> who the AI should be, for example a senior copywriter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Task:<\/strong> what it should produce, with the blanks in place.\n\n

    • Use one blank per detail that changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Give each blank a clear name, like {{audience}}<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Format:<\/strong> how the answer should look: a list, a table or a short paragraph.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Heading level 4: step by step<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1. Write the prompt as if you were briefing a new colleague.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Replace every detail that changes with a blank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Test it with two or three different inputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Save a sample output, so others know what to expect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        Heading level 5: a small detail<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

        Smaller headings are useful inside long guides, for notes that belong to the section above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Heading level 6: the smallest one<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

        Rarely needed, but it should still look like a heading and not like body text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Code and preformatted text<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Prompts and code always use the theme\u2019s monospace font. A code block keeps line breaks and spacing exactly as typed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
