01 · Using the prompts
Find it, fill it in, copy it.
Everything you need to know to get a good prompt out of this library in under a minute.
New here?
Try one prompt from start to finish. It takes less time than reading these answers.
How do I use a prompt?
Open a prompt, type your details into the form and press Preview to see the finished text. Then press Copy and paste it into your AI tool.
What are the words in curly brackets?
They’re blanks, like
{{product}} or {{tone}}. Each one becomes a field in the form, and whatever you type replaces it in the copied prompt.
Which AI tools can I use them with?
Any tool you can paste text into: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney and others. Some prompts note which tool they were tested with.
Do I need an account?
No. Every prompt you can see here is public: search, fill in and copy as much as you like.
What does “Also includes” mean?
Some prompts add a saved block of text before your prompt, like who the AI should be or a set of style rules. The note shows what’s added, so nothing in the copied text is a surprise.
Why do some prompts have a dropdown?
The dropdown lets you choose which saved block to add, for example which client or brand the prompt is for. Pick “None” to leave it out.
What do Tested, Untested and Deprecated mean?
Tested prompts gave good results when we last checked them; the date and AI tool are listed on the prompt. Untested ones are new. Deprecated ones no longer work well and are kept for reference.
How do I find the right prompt faster?
Start typing in the search bar and matching prompts appear as you type. You can also filter by kind (writing, image or code), AI tool, project and task.
02 · Teams & private libraries
A library like this, just for your team.
We set up private prompt libraries for companies. Here’s what people usually ask first.
Can you build a private library for my team?
Yes. We write prompts around your work, add your brand voice and house rules as snippets, and set up accounts for your team.
Who can see private and team prompts?
Private prompts are only visible to the person who wrote them and the site administrators. Team prompts are visible to your team’s logged-in accounts. Neither shows up for visitors or in search engines.
Can my team add their own prompts?
Yes. Team members can write prompts and use everything shared with the team. Only administrators and editors can make a prompt public.
Can we mix public and private prompts?
Yes. Many teams publish a few prompts for customers and keep the rest private. Each prompt has its own setting.
If we change a snippet, do all prompts update?
Yes. Edit your brand voice or rules once and every prompt that uses it copies the new version straight away.
Can I use your public prompts at work?
Yes, for your own and your clients’ work. Please don’t republish the library itself as a collection.
How often do you update the prompts?
We re-test our most used prompts every few months and add new ones every week or two. Each prompt shows when it was last tested.
Can I suggest a prompt?
Please do. Send it through the contact form. If it works well, we’ll add it to the library with your name on it.
